Badly-Drawn Terror Toons

My brother and I are probably the only two people in the world ever to draw Terror Toons fanart. I'm not sure if that should be a statement of pride or shame. A product of the underground (for good reasons) and aptly-named Brain Damage Productions horror movie studio, Terror Toons is a bizarre, mind-numbing little romp through Tex Avery's darkest nightmares. The premise is that Satan (yes, THE Satan. The big boy himself) has brainstormed a way to create cartoons featuring two twisted little evildoers, Max Assassin and Dr. Carnage, who will force their way outside of the television set when the viewer least expects it and set forth to destroy and kill in the real world via their crazy cartoon antics. Don't bother questioning WHY in the freaking world Satan would rely on a plan this inane or why his "cartoon" sure looks a lot like real people in really stupid costumes, touched up with Macromedia Flash and PhotoShop; but who are we to cast judgment, right? Anyhoo, the heroine of the film finally realizes that the only way to fight fire is with fire (but not after all of her friends and family have been slaughtered like cattle), and then transforms into the frumpiest superhero of all time. There's more cartoon guts and gore aplenty and, well... There's not really any conclusion to this awful film. You just have to see it for yourself.

In Conclusion

Concept: <-- would have been five if it wasn't for that stupid thing about the devil

Execution: <-- crap. but the Dr. Carnage suit was kinda' cool and the guy playing him made a good cartoon character

Overall, interesting concept and it probably would have been scary if it wasn't being made on a shoestring budget... or by people who had no clue what cartoons are.

That was my segue to tell you this is my drawing of A) the stupid superhero girl, B) Max Assassin, the stupid lab-monkey, C) Dr. Carnage, the really cool mad scientist who just got a raw deal, and D) the idiot producer/director/loser-off-the-street or whatever he was who came in at the beginning of the movie, trying to be "cool" and hardcore by wearing a leather jacket and shades and announcing this movie as if Lucifer himself was going to pop out and spear our brains on a pike. It didn't happen. Director-Man owes me five bucks and lots of psychological counseling. The jerk.
